Mammoet Canada Western Ltd & Irving Equipment Limited take home the Canadian Lift of the Year Awards!
Vancouver, May 23, 2023– The Canadian Crane Rental Association is excited to announce the winners of the Canadian Lift of the Year Awards. The Over 20 Tonnes was awarded to Mammoet Canada Western Ltd. and the Under 20 Tonnes was awarded Irving Equipment Limited.
The Awards, were announced during the Closing Banquet of the Annual Conference, held in Vancouver , BC, May 16-18, 2023. The presentations were delivered in front of a live audience filled with nearly two hundred industry peers and colleagues on May 17th, 2023 in the Stanley Park Ballroom, in the Westin Bayshore Hotel. This new segment of the Annual Conference was celebrated by all attendees.
Six companies competed in the Over 20T category, and three companies in the Under 20T category.
Mammoet Canada Western Ltd. won the Over 20T lift competition with an extremely complicated 3-crane lift performed in Kitimat, BC and Irving Equipment Limited, impressed the judges with an intricate loading of a transformer onto an offshore supply vessel at a pier in St. John’s, NL to take home the prize in the Under 20T lift category.
The Canadian Crane Rental Association recognizes excellence and innovation in the Canadian crane industry with the Canadian Lift of the Year Awards.
The Canadian Crane Rental Association’s members are crane rental companies, crane owners, manufacturers and suppliers of cranes and equipment, and supplier of service used in the specialty crane rental business in Canada.
