2025-2024 Photo Contest Winners
Each year, Crane & Hoist Canada’s annual photo contest shines a light on the country’s heavy lifting industry – and for 2024, we’ve succeeded in that goal quite literally, thanks to a stunning, sunny shot from Calgary, Alberta’s McIntyre Crane & Rigging.
For 2025 this was the CCRA’s second time participating in the judging panel for the photo contest, and the task was challenging due to the exceptional number of high-quality entries,” said Bélanger-Parker. “Ultimately, the judges unanimously agreed that Guay Inc.’s submission stood out as the winning photo, thanks to its excellent composition, framing, and overall quality.”
The Power of Association
The recent announcements of changes to Weights & Dimensions Regulations for All-Terrain Cranes (ATC) in British Columbia demonstrate the power of association. One member alone could not initiate the province-wide changes; but together, we could.
BC Removes 1000 kg restriction on adjacent axles for ATCs
Regina, SK – January 12, 2024 – BC Transport has announced further significant changes to the weights and dimensions policy, specifically Chapter 5, pertaining to All-Terrain Cranes. These changes have resulted from the efforts of the CCRA Weights & Dimensions Technical Committee.
